About Us

The 4th Teignmouth Scout Group is fortunate to have its own premises close to the docks and within walking distance of a community green space, we are also excited at the prospect of moving into a brand new building planned for completion in 2023 which will enable us to accept more young people and offer greater opportunity.

We encourage all our members to have a go at everything and to try as many new things as they can while they are with us. This is what we are all about really – learning while having a lot fun and giving the young people skills that they will need as they grow into adults.

We do this by making sure that each section has a varied and exciting programme in place to help with their social, physical, intellectual and spiritual development while they’re having fun playing games, making things, camping, climbing, abseiling, kayaking, inventing, experimenting, visiting new places – the list is as endless as their imaginations.
