The Cub Pack meets on Tuesday evenings.
During their time in the Pack, Cubs will get a chance to try lots of different activities. One week they could be making bottle rockets and learning about the scientific principles of force, and the next week they could be learning knots to build catapults.
There are also a range of activity badges available which Cubs can wear on their uniforms to show everyone their interest in a an activity or subject. For example animal carer, book reader and swimmer badges can all be gained, and worked on outside of a Cub night.
Cubs also get to go on trips and days out, hikes on Dartmoor, climbing through trees at ‘Go Ape’ and kayaking are all activities we have tried in the past. Sometimes they will be able to go camping with the rest of the Pack and take part in all kinds of outdoor activities.
All the activities we do, whether indoors in the headquarters, outside on an evening, or away on a weekend, are based around having fun.
A Pack of Cubs is organised into Sixes, with each Six named after a colour, and a Sixer and a Seconder in charge.
